Re: powerdrive charger 48 volt
Hmmm. You shouldn't try to repair a charger. There are alot of capacitors in a charger that will hold power even if the charger is unpluged.
So unless you are a qualified electrician with the proper equipment I would take it down to someone that does. |

Re: powerdrive charger 48 volt
Capacitors just need to be discharged anyway, no big deal. Just not on yourself.

Re: powerdrive charger 48 volt
so you are saying there isn't a single capicitor on any of the boards in the charger? There is nothing in the charger that could hold a residual charge?
That would make them like the worlds first piece of electronics that didn't. If you have a desktop computer. unplug it then hit the power button. I beg ya it lights up the lights and the hard drive spins. same thing with a stereo. Unless detriot really knows what the issue is with his charger like the cables or something, I wouldn't suggest he start opening the case and messing with stuff. |

Re: powerdrive charger 48 volt
Yes this is a forum to walk folks through fixing their own stuff instead of going to a dealer if we can.Sometimes we can help and sometimes we cant.
