New-B question on charging times

Ok, I've searched and cant find an answer. I have an '07 CC precedent 48V. Serial number: PQ0730-XXXXXX
I just bought cart and stuck on the charger for the first time. Charger is a Club Car PowerDrive 2.

Im new to carts so go easy on me.

What is a normal time to fully charge batteries? When I put charger on, batteries were not completely dead.

After 6 hours on charger it still shows to be charging at about 3-4 amps. and has been for the last 3 or so hours.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.!

OBC controls complete charge is 16 hrs. That is time out time.

Thanks for reply. It finally shut off after about 7.25 hours. Can only get 13mph out of it though. Guess I'll have to get speed code 4

Club Car stock charger systems are one of the BEST because of OBC ( ON BOARD COMPUTER ) mounted IN CART that will give all needed charging amounts and correct amount of time. If you unplug charger BEFORE cycle is complete OBC will reset and in some cases this can over charge of batterys, so leave charger alone to finish its cycle and turn itself off.
To give batterys maximum life and service charger should be hooked up after each time cart is used. Allowing batterys to discharge below 75%-80% of charge will soon ruin a otherwise good set of batterys. This is even more common with 12 volt batterys ( 6 distilled water fill holes ) which were used in some Precedents and had short life at best and are now being replaced with 8 volt batterys ( 4 distilled water fill holes ) when new?
