Default OBC reset

What is the actual proceedure to reset the OBC on a IQ club car.
Does the will the computer not allow the car to run if it is bad.

i will be corrected if i,m wrong but i don,t think you can do an OBC reset on an IQ cart..............................................

Sometimes it will not let the car run if it is in lockout.

GCfixer is right but, reset rarely if ever fixed this to my knowledge ... OBC reset on an IQ is as listed in the Stickies

fixer that part i understand but can you reset that puter? i have tried a few things several times without any luck so any info would be great................................

Shadow, I completely understand the "without any luck' statement..... I am in the same boat, but alas, it is a CC I was called out on a Yamaha once which was in low voltage lockout and when reset, it worked just fine .... other than that? Resets are for the birds

scotty the only time i really ever even waste time on trying a reset is between 1995 and 1998 non reagan carts other than that i think its a waste of time.............................................8 )

I forget the year of it, but those cars that were built in partnership with GM (I believe they were IQ systems), will allow the reset of the OBC and it actually works!!!!

of course, that has been the only Club Car that I have ever gotten the reset to work on lmao......

My IQ nightmare cart was one of those... They made 10,000 of em, called them the Pathway. Mine was an 2003. I reset the OBC over and over on it but .... turned out the problem was in the wire harness 'sonic welds'.
