Re: charger comes on soon as plug in no check
Is it charging and shutting off like its supposed to? If its working I wouldn't worry about it but if your really worried about it that would be in the OBC. If the relay in the charger isn't clicking and its charging the relay is bad.

Re: charger comes on soon as plug in no check
When did you swap the batts out? What is your total pack voltage? I'm assuming you just swapped the batts and you have never charged them yet correct?
15 second check? Mine doesn't do that. It just sits a few seconds then kicks on. What is the 15 second check? |

Re: charger comes on soon as plug in no check
UNPLUG IT!!!!!! ASAP!!!!!! Before you have to buy a new set of batteries. Your OBC is stuck in the charge position. It'll never turn off a charger. It must be replaced. Rebooting won't fix this. It's an internal short.

Re: charger comes on soon as plug in no check
If its fully charged the amp meter will read 0. Disconnect the OBC wire, should be yellow (small wire on back of charge receptacle, should be fused) and see if it still comes on. If not, replace the OBC.

Re: charger comes on soon as plug in no check
I see that now... I only read the first post... I still stick with my response, however I'll add an additional comment now as well after reading the rest of the thread... You've got two shorts in the OBC, a control circuit short, and a charging circuit short. The OBC is turning the relay on immediately (control short) and even though the charger is indeed ON and humming, it's not actually charging the pack due to the fact that it can't sense any voltage (charging circuit short) The 10 gauge black wire that runs into the back of the OBC is broken internally inside the OBC and is not getting continuity from the black wire that hooks to the B- post of the controller. You've got a double screwed OBC and it, without a doubt, must be replaced.
