you should NOT be able to move the Spindle nut by hand, I agree with that paranoia.....

So I got the wheels off yesterday and was ready to mess with the hubs when I saw that the bushing for the delta a plate and delta upper clevis was GONE on the passenger side. The nut on the upper clevis was loose and had allowed enough movement to disintegrate the bushing and allow the play that made the wheels turn left when braking.

I had only played one round of golf and done some initial testing of the cart after my rebuild, but that was enough to loosen things. I had two old bushing that I modified to fit as a temp fix and torqued everything down.

Will get new bushings this week and keep an eye of my suspension with regular checks of the hardware.
