Re: replacing an ignition
i have the jeep body and it isn't a president, there's an o ring on the front of the ignition switch...but i guess i'll have to take the dash off to access the back end of the switch. not easy to get to...unless there's and easier way. but what should i look for as i'm disconnecting?

Re: replacing an ignition
make sure you disconnect main power before doing anything cause if you ground that switch you will do more damage........................

Re: replacing an ignition
Scubabud, I am interested in your suggestion to use a barrel key from a motorcycle, will they handle 48 volts okay ? Thanks in advance. Pat.
