Golf Car jumps
Hey guys, I have a 99 club car electric and recently i was spraying some stuff when the car stopped. All it would do is jerk a little but not go. The car was in a small bind in that it was in rough terrain with a sprayer on the back. I towed it home and checked all connections replacing one cable. I charged the batteries and nothing but jerking when I applied the accellerator. I asked my Dad to check it today and he called and said it was running. I got home and when he slowly pressed the accellerator it would go but if he floored it quickly it would just jerk. The batteries are less than two years old and in good shape. Is this a motor problem or something else? Thanks for the help.

Re: Golf Car jumps
take a battery out after you disconnect main power and pop the cover off of it work your pedel to see how smooth it goes back and forth.......theres a movable wiper arm in there that rides across a series of copper studs make sure all that stuff is good clean and working smooth if you get to a spot where it hangs up or dosn,t touch the contact that could be your problem.............
