Default Torque comes and goes

I was driving the cart around yesterday with a buddy (300lbs combined weight). Went up and hill drove around (250 yards), then tried going up another hill (smaller than the first). The cart would not climb the hill at all, pedal to the floor and not even trying. So, the other person got out to push and I was going to drive it. After they got out it went up the hill no problem.

Then we were on virtually a flat surface. There was a minor bump (like a speed bump in the road, 4" tall). We stopped, at the bump and tried to go over it. It would not do it unless we backed up and got speed.

The batteries had maybe 30-45minutes since they had been fully charged. It is a 48v with trojan batteries(t-875) that are about a 1.5 years old.

Later that day other people were riding the cart and said they had no problems with hills or inclines.

You may have a tired spring in the secondary and it doesn't
close up all the time or it may just need cleaning and lube.

What year and model ( lever under right leg or rocker switch on black box under right leg ) is your CC? If in doubt give complete serial number under passenger glove box on frame. Also have you checked batterys for charge and condition ( Hydrometer and or voltage on each battery ) compare with STICKIES ABOVE under "State of Charge Readings" even though they have just been charged doesn't mean they are OK? Then we can see what problems could be?

I charged the cart until the charger turned off. All the batteries except one said 8.3x, the other said 8.02. That is like 80%, should I be getting 100%?

Its possible that the low battery may be weak? Do you have a single float hydrometer that you could test each cell on that battery and compare to chart and let me know what readings are? Do you have access to a load tester as well to confirm IF battery is weak after cell tests? Yes they should be 100% if you tested them ( one hour after removing charger ), as then they have had a chance to level off.
You have a IQ 2003 that also has a speed control on the end of motor that could be causing problems, but lets eliminate possible battery problems first? There are lots of other things that could cause your problem like MCOR, Controller, high resistance cables, etc but we need to take it step by step.

50.0-50.1 for the voltage. That is only 80%.

I don't have either of those tools, but may know somebody with a load tester.

You can get a cheap volt-amp meter from Harbor Freight for around $4-$5 and a single float Hydrometer with temperature correcting scale ( NOT A ANTIFREEZE MULTI BALL ) at any auto parts store for about $3-$5. With a battery cart you will need both from time to time so its a good investment. When using either units look in STICKIES ABOVE under "State of Charge Readings"
