Default need advice on obc

To all who can help i have a 95 cc 48 volts with six 8 volt trojans t 890 s upgraded to d d torque motor for hunting in the hills and my obc went out i am done for the night working on it, but my question is my new obc is the same but i got a fuse kit in the box and do i need to put it on its a little different looking with a silver billet shaped end on it and i dont recall mine begin like that but have not got there yet,, next question is my obc that i took out had a 4 guage cable going to batt. 6 and the new obc came with 6 gauge will i lose any at all torque with that or is it just to tell the charge of pack.. next the kit came with a battery warning light and my cart dont have that do i need to put it in or can i use without perferably without if possibe i read in the instruction that it need to be on so it will work correctly but it said things about different years thank man in advance i want to finish in the morning i got obc mounted up and wires hooked to controller and called it a night

hello all i have aproblem i bought new batteries for my 36 volt cart and the charger will not charge the batteeries can u help

u need to start a new thread go to bottom of main page and hit the new thread tab welcome to BBG main page under club cart at bottom but i will try to help get thread started and other will help too

You do need the light from what I understand. The one wire is with the silver thing is for the grey wire, the fuse goes on red wire to the solenoid. The light is for diagnostic use at the dealer also. Yes you need to change the 6 ga wire to 4 ga but could just run both adding the 4 ga running around your obc.

fishing dude you talking about running two wires off last neg.. of pack one going threw the obc to the controller B spot and the other around to the B spot as well

Yes 2 cables. Actually two #6 will do the job of a #4 just fine. I have done many without the extra fuse kit installed but, I recommend the warning light be installed in the dash.

so you think scotty that i can get by without putting in fuse pin in charger port.... so i hook the warning light up to key switch. i hope the cart has the right hook up wires because it doesnt have a warning light on it when i bought it thanks in advance

Scotty is it worth the trouble to cut the end and change to #4 if i dont change it i will see a power loss... what u mean use 2 #6

Thanks so there will be the 10 guage from the obc and a 6 gauge and another smaller wire i dont know what it is and my 4 gauge wire all on the Controller B tab correct
