Default 94 cc I BROKE SOMETHING!

Ok , I was driving my cart up on my porch to protect my new seats till I get my cover, there is about a 4 inch lip to ride over, when my back tires got to the lip I wasnt going fast enough so i backed up a little and gave it a little more pedal to get over it, it was a harder than normal hit, now the solenoid only clicks in foward but it will go in reverse. I had to leave without troubleshooting so what should I look at first. I have read that my cart runs off half the pack in reverse and the whole pack in foward. Think I damaged a battery????????????? The batts are 5 years old.
