Anyone bought a Cart from this company?
I'm a newbie on Golf Carts, and am trying to find out as much as I can before buying. This is a very informative site, and I'm glad I found it.
"Texas Custom Carts' in Austin sells pretty much what I think I want. 48v High speed code installed, 6" lift, pick your color, (from 360), choice of wheels, rear fold down seat, automatic charger, 90 day warranty, I think '08 batteries, on a 2006 Club Car Precedent. Has anyone bought from them, and if so how'd it go? I looked at their feedback on E-Bay, and they all seem pretty happy. This Cart sold for anywhere between $3K, and $3500 to many buyers. Their site has it at $3795. Don't know what it would cost to ship here in Alamogordo, NM though. |

Re: Anyone bought a Cart from this company?
i bought my 06 Precedent 48v from them a couple of months ago.
i got to pick any automotive color i wanted and got to pick the wheels I wanted. The cart is great and works great. he even delivered it to me. i am about three hours from Austin. I did have a front wheel bearing issue and he sent new bearings in the mail immediately. He even threw in a free used windshield for me. I am very happy with the cart. Paid $3700 or $3800 total i think. |

Re: Anyone bought a Cart from this company?
Get new 8 volt batterys ( NO 12 VOLT AS CC HAS DROPPED THEM AND CONVERSION COSTS ARE HIGH ) as replacement costs for QUALITY BATTERYS IS HIGH.

Re: Anyone bought a Cart from this company?
I agree. The system is 4x12v batts. They're 08's and in good shape but the run time is quite a bit less than my old 36v EZGO. Part of me is wishing the batteries were bad so i could do the conversion but it is expensive. I would go with 6x8v if i had it to do over...

I think I'll have to add 6x8v to my list of wants.
