Thanks guys for the help, sure enough it shut off and looks ok to me.

A friend looked at the water level today and said I should have more water in the batteries, where do you guys keep yours topped up to? Right now the water is about 3mm over the battery element (or whatever you call it) , should it be topped up more than this maybe thats the problem I had or I took to much water out?

Thanks

Stuart

Intentionally leave it about 1/4 inch from the full mark, this will prevent any problems of the water boiling out. More water does not equal more power. As long as the plate is covered, thats all your looking to do.

Sorry one last question if you will, I was told to plug the charger in after each use to keep it topped up , we use the cart once a day just to drive over to friends down the road so it doesn't go far.

Is it a good thing to keep it topped up for should I let the batteries ware down before recharging each time?

Thanks

Stuart
