Wink '98 ds stopped dead in its tract

Riding along in the cart it just stopped, like no power at all. Had it in the shop for a month and the guy said the controller was on backorder. We do not think he knew the real problem. He told another person the same thing and it turned out to be the OBC. You can hear it faintly clicking (sometimes). Club Car 48 volt. "98 DS (A9836-691130). How do we check the controller? and the OBC? to determine which one it is. Brand New Batteries and they all test great. The repairman had the solenoid off and now we do not want to charge it until we are sure it had been put back together correctly. Thanks

did they check to see if solenoid went bad? cause it may not be controller or OBC there are a lot of other less expensive things that will stop a cart in its tracks............is it a reagan cart 1 or 2 solenoids....................................

It has one solenoid. I have just ordered a new one. It is worth a try. This is a great forum. Thanks for any suggestions you may have.

If it is a faint click your solenoid has probably failed. Its probably the original and its time for it to go.I think that will fix you up.If you put it on yourself make sure the diode is orientaited in the right direction.
