Default 1996 club car yellow light on and won't run

My 1996 club car won't run after a storm hit our course. The battery charger is ok, but cart will not take charge. The yellow or orange light will turn on and off and you can hear the solenoid click when you try to move it. When you put it in reverse the back up buzzer works, so the batteries seem ok. any thoughts.

thanks,

Did you try and reset the OBC?

If its a 96 the OBC is toast as 95,96,and some 97s had waek OBC,S in them. You need to get the upgrade kit.

If the solenoid is clicking you can rule out the OBC. The only thing the OBC does as far as the running of the car is concerned is to supply a ground for the solenoid and the controller. You've got a ground. If you didn't, it wouldn't click. I'd be leaning more towards the controller or the solenoid itself... Jump the two large posts on the solenoid together and see if it'll run.
