Need some advice on charger not working
I have a 2006 club car president 48 volt the problem I am having is when I plug the charger into the cart it makes a buzzing sound and the amp meter doesn't move and then the circuit breaker trips??? I have plugged the charger into another cart and it did the same thing the charger is a power drive 2 model number 22110.

If the OTHER cart was same as your it sounds like you have a possible diode problem?
I would go to the Lester Electrical. Com site and go to the ( trouble shooting site), and have your serial number and model number off your charger. This will take you through test procedures. |

Take that charger lid off , look for a black box with 4 wires on it, do a quick sniff test if it smells cooked shes a goner, time for a new rectifier
