Exclamation Noob with a charging question?

Hello Everyone, I am a noobie here and I hate to have to ask a tech question right off the bat,but i'm a little concerned. I just bought my first cart, it's a 2006 club car precedent and i was charging it last night, my concern is while it was charging it sounded to me like the batteries were boiling! Is this normal? or should I be concerned? Thanks in advance for your help.

Its normal, when you are charging you are putting heat in the batteries and thats where the sound comes from.If you want you can prop the seat open with a stick and they can vent better.I do this in the shop and it helps circulate the air a little better.

Oh one more thing, put it in tow when you charge it,it charges a little faster and it also cuts all the other power off.I always do this on mine.
