I have a 96 gas club car. Iworked on it the other day because it would just chug up the street. I push the primer button several times with no effect. I brought in the garage to check the spark and it was a nice crisp blue spark. I put the wire back on and it ran fine. Two days later, same thing. Ran down the street, chugging away, got into garage, jacked it up and ran it. All it does is surge. Like it was going to go and then shuts off. I have a new air filter, new plug gapped to 025. The fuel lines are clear and the filters new. Then all of a sudden it is fine, i can go around the block for several minutes and never misses a beat. Could it be the cdi box or the mag breaking down or the wire from the mag, shorting somewhere?
