Default Cleaning - What makes the plastic shine like dealers?

Hi All

When I purchased my Precedent a year ago the dealer treated the plastic on it (the black trim) with something that almost made it water proof when washing it and kept it shining, it was almost oily.

Do you guys have any idea what this might be to keep the black trim shiny and clean please? I gave my cart a good clean today and it took most of it off with my car shampoo solution so I would like to try reapply it if I can.

Thanks

Stuart

Your dealer might have used Re-Black, available from dealerships

The stuff with the oily/slick feel is a magnet for dust/dirt.
