Reseting the OBC?

I haven't had trouble with my OBC in my 08 Precident yet, but if I ever have to reset it, will I loose my speed code 4 setting? What are some of the problems that might require resetting the OBC? I have only had a couple of carts in the past year and I am learning a ton from this site!

i could be wrong and someone else will know but i don,t think you can do an OBC reset on anything after 2001.........................................

You won't lose the settings. They're all programmed in the controller. The only reason you'd need to reboot is if you're having problems with the cart.
