4 gage wire
I have a 98 club car ds that I just put 4 gage wirer on, the larger wire will not go thru the charge computer.

Put the old cable back thru the OBC and run the new 4 gauge cable around the outside!! It will still work that way. If you cut the old 6 gauge wire splice and or solder it back together AFTER you put it back thru the OBC

Thanks, that is the way i have it now, I didnt know if there was a trick to going thru the hole like making the hole larger.

They say you can make the hole very slightly larger, but you run the risk of damaging some wires just outside the hole. I`d prefer to just run them around the OBC!
