Rear End fluid? 2003 DS
I have a 2003 DS. The other day I parked it in the garage and notice oil leaking from the drain plug on the rear end. I probably just hit something that caused it to loosen a bit. My problem is, I have no way of knowing how much leaked out before I got back home. I doubt very much, but, I can't be sure so I thought I'd just change the gear oil in it.
I'm planning on using a 30W synthetic, but, how much do I need to put back in? And how do you get it back in there? Thanks in advance |

Re: Rear End fluid? 2003 DS
22 oz of motor oil needed. I use a oil can with flex spout to fill to bottom of fill hole. Or others are buying outboard drive pumps from marine supply houses which are faster.
Double check gasket under drain plug before possibly loosing more oil. |
