Lift install off 3 inches front vs. back
Alright fellas, I need some help! I installed the lift on the front, packed bearings, got my tow, camber and everything went smooth on the front.
As you can see there is 3 inches difference from the front vs. the back. I then went to the back and on the axle these brackets are welded on. So I went ahead and installed the springs and the shackles. So now I have these left over parts. What are these? So the lift kit is from All Sport and supposedly I was supposed to be able to just "bolt" everything right on, so how do I get these on? Tell me what the heck I am supposed to do to get this thing level? HELP! |

Re: Lift install off 3 inches front vs. back
Here'a pic of mine:
The axle has to go BELOW the leaf spring, with the new U channel axle support on top, the flat bracket goes on top of the the leaf for the shock mount. Hope this helps! |

Re: Lift install off 3 inches front vs. back
so far the only real bolt on lift that is worth anything is a jakes..........just my opinion, my B-I-L bought a 6 inch likt from some company cause he saved 15 dollars over a jake ......this was last year but his cart is leaning to the right on the rearand now he has to check his gear oil level 3 to 4 times a month because the cart is lea is letting fluid come the vent on axle......we have tried everything even putting less fluid in but still leaking.....o for a few bucks morei beleive in thier product and is the the most less hassle free of them.........................................

Re: Lift install off 3 inches front vs. back
In your ( next to last photo ) you are pointing at are upper "U" bolt mounts with shock adaption on end. The other parts shown that you are pointing at in last photo are new differential mounts that should go ( on top of axle ). Didnt your instructions from after market supplier show how the parts are used? If not I would call supplier and make sure you are installing included parts correctly, or send you correct installation literature ay very least?

I didn't go with Jake's simply because I wanted to purchase everything from the same sponsor here and I got a upgraded discount on the whole order. Looks like I will do as shown above and see where that gets me. Thanks guys. |

Re: Lift install off 3 inches front vs. back
Sounds like the instruction are for the professional cart dealer rather than a cart owner installer? Too bad there isn't different instructions for each group? I wonder which group buys this kit the most, maybe supplier should check it out rather than ignore a major part of their market IF THEY CARE? Or more people should send letters explaining problems to supplier?

Re: Lift install off 3 inches front vs. back
GREG GROSS Is it possible like some of "Jakes older lift kits", that he got after market rear HD springs with lift kit that were of poor quality and let down making cart lean one direction? Some kits do include springs to make sure that lift will be as advertised highth, or to carry extra weight of rear seat passengers?
I'm sure that SHADOWMAN knows what he is talking about as he is a major sourse of info to this forum. |

Re: Lift install off 3 inches front vs. back
Welcome to the world of installing golf car accessories. Instructions are overrated. It's not just with All-Sports. It's with 90% of everything else I have to install on a daily basis... But listen to these guys... Those spring perches sit on top of the axle top and allows you to convert to a Spring-Over-Axle design.
