01 charger problem
Bought this cart for my son. Put a jakes 6 in lift on it and now the charger will not come on. Is there a reset or fuse in the charger? The Batts were nearly empty so I filled them with distilled water. If I put it in reverse I get the buzzing noise but thats it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: 01 charger problem
you need to check your pack voltage if its not 36 volts charger won,t come on.................is this a 36 volt or 48 volt cart? you need 36 volts for the 48 volt charger to come on and you need 28 volts for a 36 volt charger to come on so get a voltage meter and find out what kind of voltage you have....................................

Re: 01 charger problem
I checked my volts from the 1st to the last post and I get 24 volts. This is a 48 volt system. What do I need to do?

Re: 01 charger problem
you can either open up the charger and bypass the low voltage sensor or you can get a 12 volt auto charger and cgarge 1 at a time for 20 minutes to 1/2 hour max........if you go this way do not leave unattended while your charging each battery, and no you don,t have to disconnect any cables, if you want to open charger and bypass sensor let me know what kind of charger i suggest though if your not comfortable playing around in charger just do the 1 battery at a time when done check voltage if your at 36 and you should be your charger should come on, i noticed you said batts wetre nearly empty you did use distilled water to fill them? if not and with that little voltage worse case is batteries are done..........................................

Re: 01 charger problem
The first one I charged dropped from 6.6 to 3.3. How do I disconnect the low voltage system in my charger?

Re: 01 charger problem
You can bet that battery is no good. A drop like that indicates a problem.
