2005 precedent speed?
I'm thinking about buying a 2005 club car precedent 48 volt. The guy says it does 20mph. I don't know anything about these. Is this true? Thanks.

Re: 2005 precedent speed?
It's not uncommon for a Precedent to do 20mph +, depending on what mods have been done they can easily get up to 30mph. Take a GPS and test it yourself.

Re: 2005 precedent speed?
Even if the car is completely stock, a high speed code would get it up to 19.6MPH so yeah... it's very easily achievable.

Re: 2005 precedent speed?
I know this is an older post, but thought I would comment. I tested my 2005 Presedent at about 12-13 MPH on flat ground with the stock wheels, magnet etc.... Changed the magnet to the High Speed Magnet ( GE Motor ) yesterday and am now seeing an easy 15 mph on the same flat road, so I picked up 3-4 MPH.... Still far from 20, but much better! I'm running brand new 6 volt X 8 batteries. Thanks everyone for your comments!

Re: 2005 precedent speed?
You could add some bigger wheels to gain some top end speed. Other than lift and tires my cart is stock and it'll do 21mph with the high speed code.

Re: 2005 precedent speed?
You could add an PQ motor to gain some speed. I should say exchange your motor.
