Default Bad battery?

Thinking this is a bad battery issue, just asking what you all think. Charge cart get 51 volts on pack, specific gravity looks good, drive about 1/4 mile batteries run down to 48.6 volts. This issue started after a long run with 4 people on cart, about 1 mile. It;s a 95 with high speed motor, stock controller, so not ruling it out. Shudders when sets, and will run ok after a slow start. The batteries are about 5 years old will run what I need to right now, will store for winter before replacing batteries. Think it has a bad conection internal on a battery but would prefer to replace pack all at once, which is why wanting to wait till spring, and can't see letting new ones sitting over winter without being fully broke in..

after charging it and letting it sit an hour take voltage readings and then load test batteries.......it does sound like a battery issue but i would want to be certain for sure...........load testing should tell you that..........................

Worse Thing to do to new batteries is let em set all winter. You are right to wait until spring where you live. At 5 yrs old ...... I suspect battery trouble too

Thank you as far as load test need a load tester, not real concered will wait till spring to further pursue this issue but thinking will just put new batteries in. 3 weeks will be put away for winter. School takes part of time, work then perch fishing. may use 1/2 dozen times in next 3 weeks.
