According to Curtis controller literature you will want the 0-5 ohm ( which is what is shown for 1204-1205 controllers as "STANDARD Throttle Input BUT OTHER INPUTS AVAILABLE??" Maybe Special Order? ) so a PB-6 unit should work? ONE NOTE-- Curtis literature didn't show 1205-412 only 1205-1XX, 1205-2XX, 1205-3XX, THE ONLY 1205-4XX shown is for ( 1205X-44XX ) not 1205-412 as you indicated??
I am guessing that PB-6 with 0-5 OHMs should work from what Curtis shows?

Thanks for the info. I did put the wrong number it is a 1204-412 not a 1205. Does Curtis web site give you this kind of info. I didn't think to look there

Just checking that there is NO OTHER LETTERS like 1204M or 1204S etc along with numbers? Curtis shows 1204-4XX is 36-48 volt, current 275, 2 min rate 275, 5 min rate 200, 1 hour rate 125, voltage drop @100amps 0.35, undervolt cutback 21 volts.
Again "standard throttle input 0-5 ohms with possible others available"? So its still the same info as 1205-412.
I would check with whoever you purchase Pb-6 from to confirm that your controller ( give complete numbers ) is in fact a 0-5 ohm unit so IF HE IS WRONG HE WILL HAVE TO GIVE YOU THE CORRECT ONE.
When in doubt go to the people that supply your parts. Like you I ask questions before assuming anything, and direct them to suppliers of replacement parts.
