95 cc losing power 48v system

Hello all
I have a 95 cc non regine that takes off fine then looses power. It has 09 batterys that were replaced for this problem lol (guess what still have problem). I didnt replace them owner did. All conection are clean & tight every connection is in good condition, brakes not binding, any suggestion?

95 was the first yr 48v .... I was very disappointed in my first ride in them also. they are actually slower than a 36v cart IMO.... If the batteries are good and the cables are good then that's just the cart.

no this just aint the cart it is very slow up hills some times almost stops something else is wrong with this thing. the owner said it just started this a few months ago

Alright you got me on that one. I was going but what he had said & the date code on the batterys. I have a hydrometer coming on the tool truck this Thursday I can check it with that

Hydrometer and load test them. Sounds like one may be dropping out on you under load.
If your tests don't point out a weak battery, connect the dvm to the pack and drive the cart with one eye on the meter .... let us know what you find.

ok still waiting on the tool truck to come tomarrow (there bringing me a load tester) but in the mean time I charged the pack & let it sit over night. I checked all the cells in all batterys with a new hydrometer all are between 1.275 & 1.285 does that help in any way? after checking the batterys I test drove this pig again its still seem way slow when it hits a slight grade.

So it was slow with the old batteries and the S/G says all batteries are good but ......... it's still slow?
It is a Series cart..... they are slow and steady by their design.... I would look for at least 45 volts under load.... if you start with a fully charged pack.

If thats all good could it be loosing voltage thru the motor?

Yes, if the batteries and the cables and the connects are are all good then you could be loosing performance from worn brushes...
