Its actually a serial number but looks very similair ( Some States do use it for VIN ). Its a 2007 Precedent Professional Electric Club Car. All Precedents come with Intelligent Quantum ( IQ ) controlling.

Thanks MEC. I just checked stickies. You would think that I have been around here long enough that I would have learned something. Sometimes my mind in that state reminds me of Spriddle or Boo.

So what comes standard on a Precedent IQ? Is this the one with OBC problems? It is a 48 V correct? how easy to add lift kit to this? selling for $2950. Haven't looked at it yet. Thoughts?

AS a blanket statement on my part ( DO NOT BUY ANY CLUB CAR WITH 12VOLT BATTERY PACK--6 fill holes ) OK with 8 volt batterys ( 4 fill holes ) because other wise you will end up having to do about $400. PARTS PLUS Labor and BATTERYS to do conversion and get the range and performance you might be looking for. When looking to buy check code on batterys post area for dates and confirm that all have around same date ( within a few months if possible ) because courses will swap around batterys and you can end up with a year or more older battery weakening the whole pack? Dont go for cart with over 2 year old batterys if possible ( ONE YEAR IF 12 volt ) as the real sticker shock is batterys 12 volts were seeling through dealers for about $235. each X 4, and 8 volts at dealer sold for about $120. each X 6??
All Precedent come standard with IQ, OBC's I have not heard any problems so far, all are 48 volts whether 12 volt or 8 volt batterys, I have not heard any problems with installing lifts so far? There is some what of a weakness in front suspension material wise but I'm sure no more than any other brand of cart made today? This would be the second year of Precedents and some of the early ones had steering problems, but later models seemed to have solve that problem. Just like any COMPLETLY NEW AUTO there were problems but seem to have solved most of them. As a note in my area the price of a Precedent with 8 volt batterys is less than same year DS models by $500-$1000 approximatly and the lots seem full of golf course turn over units? Remember supply and demand govern prices.
AS to what comes standard on Precedents I have never seen a list other than what is basic parts and most we see here are just no frills golf course models and being a upper end cart seem to have more of the available parts standard like top, windshield, slight upgrade on seats, etc than came with DS models? You wont have lifts, larger tires and fancy wheels , fancy seats, side covers, etc.
