Post Rear Flip Seat Question

I recently purchased an 06 CC Precedent. The first mod I want to do is to add a rear flip seat. I am looking for one that allows you to keep the factory rear roof supports but have not been able to find one on any of the sponsors sites. Anyone have one on their Precedent and if so, where did you find it?
Thanks,
Bob

I have put on many rear flip seats on precedents,BUT they dont use the origional plastic drains. They use the drains that come with the kit.I use the seats from Custom Golf Car Supply ans they are excellent quality built seats.I am sure there is somebody that is a advertiser on here that uses their products.Hope this helps.

gsp041, I don't know if you are the person that asked me about mine the other day or not. The guy I bought my cart from installed the seat on it the day before I bought it. No idea what kind it is or where he got it. But it's an okay seat and I'll keep it unless or until it fails or gets damaged. But, with that said, I would have chosen one that matches my front seats a little better and has a little better quality upholstery on it. I've already had a cat get on mine and use it as a claw sharpener and poked a couple of holes in the backrest. My last cart sat outside 95% of the time and had cats and dogs both on it here and there. The back seat on that cart matched the front perfectly and in almost 6 years, it never got a puncture and always cleaned up well with just a little clorox cleanup sprayed on it. If you are bent on getting one that lets you keep the stock rear posts and can't find one from one of the sponsors, pm me and I'll give you the guy's phone number I bought my cart from.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the info. I was looking on ebay last night and found one that uses the stock rear roof supports. 03red I will pm you if I don't find what I'm looking for soon. I believe the one I saw was from Rocky Top Carts. Anyone have any dealings with them?

gsp041,
just put a rear flip-seat on my 06 Precedent. Ordered from the company you mentioned mainly because it used the original rear roof supports. They shipped immediately and I received it in 2 days (NC). haven't seen any other brands, but I really like this one.

Thanks for the information, dt. Was the install relatively easy and about how long did it take?
Thanks,
Bob

gsp041,

Install was fairly easy. Took about 2-3 hours by myself. Just got the car about 2 weeks ago so I knew nothing about it. I was taking my time. I think if I were to do another one, it would take about half as long.
I liked that is used the factory supports, kinda kept the factory look.

DT,
Thanks. I also wanted to keep the factory look and that particular rear seat is the only one that I have found so far for the Precedent that uses the factory rear roof supports. I appreciate the info.
