Newbie with another wiring question
First let me say i truly have done a search on these silly questions i am asking, but i seem to either not reading into the answers or simply not getting it.I have a 2002 Club Car ds 36 volt with factory headlights.I am going to replace them with some old school 5 3/4 inch sealed beam after markets. Is there a diagram out there to use as reference to going about this and are the factory lights 12 volt.Upfront thanks for any help!!!

Re: Newbie with another wiring question
I'm not familiar with the Club Car electrics, but the EZGO electrics all use 12v that I've dealt with. There's probably a 36v-to-12v step down somewhere or only one battery is providing power for lights and all.
From a manufacturing standpoint, it makes no sense to use a light of a different voltage than a car would use. It would raise their costs significantly. |
