MCOR conversion?
Is this the correct pedal assambly for the MCOR conversion? It is in a late 95 DS 48V regen1 cart bud doesn't look like the one on the parts dirrect site. It looks just like the one on the 97 pedal diagram. Could have been upgraded or I know CC was experimenting at this time.
Thanks, |

Re: MCOR conversion?
Come on, somebody please help me confirm I have the right pedal assy group to get a MCOR conversion kit before I waste $250.00. I don't want to have to fab some linkage parts. Don't have the equiptment for that. OLD MEC did PM me and I trust him 100%. Where are all of the CC experts? Somebody out ther has installed these before with this kind of pedal group, please help.

Re: MCOR conversion?
Maybe Scotty or OLD MEC can verify this Colby but I am sure the new MCOR kit includes everything needed to change that over to the new style. The new one has a pot that is actuated by a rod and it is located on the passenger side of the frame I beam. If I remember correctly the location of your current pot is replaced by a rod that goes to the brake locking mechanism, the other side of pedal has a rod that goes to the potentiometer. Maybe one of the experts will chime in?

Re: MCOR conversion?
Which way is the best to go? From what I have read, the PB-6 is good but the MCOR is more waterproof. This cart will be used driving in wet hay fields.

Re: MCOR conversion?
I prefer to spend a little bit more and go with the mcor. It is waterproof and requires no fabrication to install. The pb-6 is significantly cheaper, yet requires fab work and must be placed as high up as possible to keep from getting wet. If you do a search, you will see what it requires, I believe ScottyB had a good thread where he installed one with good pics.

Re: MCOR conversion?
How much is the MCOR vs the PB-6?
I am in the process of a conversion and like as little fabrication as possible. Robert |

Re: MCOR conversion?
Yes this is definitely the correct pedal configuration for the MCOR conversion.

Re: MCOR conversion?
Yes all the brake linkages on those year cars are the same and the MCOR conversion is a good thing and I am sure you will be pleased with it.
