If every thing is working as should be and hill is not too steep you should be OK? Remember that golf carts are built for only 2 people, 2 golf bags, no lift, stock small diameter tires, no extra seat and passengers, very minor hills and have brakes only on rear wheels? If in doubt there are conversion kits out there to switch to disc brakes on rear as well as front wheels. Just like a difference of daylight to dark in stopping power. You would be able to slide all wheels like a modern auto if needed.?

You mean "braking" ability. Mine works fine. Now breaking ability as to running into a tree, that's another story!

I mean braking ability, not breaking ability.....Im just wondering how these things brake with a lift kit and 22 in wheels....using it for hunting and some logging roads I feel I may have to take little by little....do they really sell braking systems as an after factory add on?

Yes there are "after market" kits available for rear disc brakes as well as front disc brakes. Look at "Jakes" for his front wheel hydraulic disc brake set and there are several manual ( hooked to your existing cable ) rear disc brake adaptions available. Check for one at Ausco Products.com ( Ausco Ameri Torque Cart Brakes ), sorry dont have site for other at hand? Check with forum sponsors for other kits available.
