I kinda have the same problem. I replaced my original batterys on my 06 CC. I replaced them with Trojan 1275 batterys. Now my original tie down brackets will not fit the top of the batterys. The tabs on top of the 1275 are spaced closer in then the originals. Any ideas?

Sir you are hijacking this thread, but I will answer your question anyway.Sometimes on the 12 volt batts you have to cut back the plastic on the holddowns to make them work on batteries other than trojan.Hold them up to the battery and see what you have to cut off.I just use the bench grinder to shave off that extra stuff.Hope this helps.

Silver did you drill in the holes for the battery rods in the sides of the new frames you put in?They are about 7.5 inches from the middle.I pre drill them before mounting the frames.7.5 to the middle,my mistake.I use a little bigger than a 1/4 inch hole for some wiggle room. You can get the rods and holddowns from any golfcar dealer and they are inexpensive,Probably around 30 bucks for everything.

No I didn't predrill the holes because the angle was to corroded to know where they go

Pull the batteries out before you try drilling any holes.... one slip of the drill and you will wish you had
Did you ever get any pics?
I have a CC I can get a pic if you need?
