Default cart security alarm

Was thinking about getting a golf cart security alarm for my 08 CC since ive invested a good amount of money on it. I came across the "Buggies Unlimited Enforcer Universal Alarm System". Does anybody here have this or any other brand of security alarm installed in the cart?

thx

And you'll probably save a couple bucks on shipping

This one is completely self contained in one mountable piece. The BU one has a remote siren which can be disconnected and/or wire cut without actually setting off the rocker alarm. But that depends on how you install/mount it.

Just personal preferance

I have that alarm in my cart. It's attached to the lights that flash when the alarm is set off as well as killing the ignition at the same time. Down side is that the alarm resets in about 30 seconds and as Ess noted you'll have to mount the brain in one place, the siren in the other and it has only one shock sensor. I'd go with the one from our sponsor since it's completely self contained and has 2 positions for the shock sensor and I'm not sure that the BU unit has the ignition kill feature any longer.

thanks guys, that definitely helps. Scubabud, just got my barrel key today. I am trying to mount it as flush as i can to use the existing cc round black plastic cover where the key goes in. In order to do that, had to cut of plastic cylinder looking housing that sticks out about 2.5 inches from the back of the dash. Kinda playing with it to see if i can get it as stock looking as possible. Thx again kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heres another alarm system. Doesnt have a siren buy kills ignition even if key is switched on.

It's not an alarm. It's just an ignition lock out and it's $90.00
