Default reverse throttle input?

I have a 99 series cart that was brought to me to figure out a problem after the owner installed a ge controller. The problem is that the cart now has now throttle control, even the slight bit of throttle is WOT and there is no variation. It looks like the throttle input may be wrong for the contoller. This cart has the pie shapped throtttle with the newer 6 pin connect not the traditional 3 pin triangle. I suspect the contoller is getting the wrong ohms for what it is looking for and going wot. Is it possible to switch the yellow and green throttle wires at the contoller on pins 2 and 3 to temp correct this issue or will this not work?

If its a 48 volt cart have you checked the v glide for ohms resistance? Then you could compare with controller input? Stock CC have 5 ohms without pedal pushed to 0 ohms with pedal all the way to floor. I have never had the problem you are seeing? I wonder if the V glide have small electronic resistors on back side of v glide? If it does you might be able to do a switch, but having never done that I would ask around before taking a chance on damaging a new GE Controller? Have you confirmed that the GE controller by numberis is correct for this application rather than v glide output is wrong for controller?

Disregard my post, the controller and throttle are right for each other, it's a bad controller.

Glad you found problem. Unusual to find a new controller of any brand defective, but it can happen as more and more former American made products shift to over seas production?
