Big Red build
I am new to this, starting from scratch. Anyone stuff a 1985 Honda Big Red
250, with shaft drive, semi-automatic 5 speed, with reverse into anything? I do not know dimensions or horsepower of Big Red. I was thinking of using a early '2000 Club Car or EZ Go body.I can do the work, only want to do 30-40 mph around the neighborhood and pull wheelies, and put a max of $2000 into it.Anyone do a similar build, or have ideas? |

Re: Big Red build
You had better have good F&R hydraulic disc brakes to try and stop that monster? If you are going to adapt to cart with stock frame CC or Ezgo, Yamaha I would go with a Yamaha as they have strongest frame I know of? CC is aluminum frame and I doubt it could stand up to torque with out cracking? EZGO is steel frame but I dont think it would be strong enough? Sorry CC and Ezgo owners???

Re: Big Red build
Yamaha frames, Columbia frames, stronger than all the rest. I didn't leave much of the original Yamaha frame though.
