anyone tried this? I have an '02 DS IQ. It must be already set to speed # 4, because it is pretty fast. Would this do me any good?
Thanks

I dont think it would increase your speed above #4 setting on controller as it only fools motor rpm sensor up to a point into thinking its going slower than it actually is? I have seen two of these on IQ carts and with #4 setting it was wasted money with only slight change according to owners of carts? In both cases they said "it didnt work for them"?

Actually, it should .....but not as much as you'd think. ...."in theory" it would but real world aint like that. Problem is you get to a point where the stock controller and motor just cant produce enough power to overcome things like parasitic drag. The motor will only produce so much power at a given voltage/amperage. These codes and gadgets only raise the RPM level. (as far as I know) Thats probly why you only see slight improvements combined with option code 4.

It's like thinking you can add 36" tires and that'll allow you to go 100 MPH. Can't produce enough power to overcome drag much less turn those big tires.
