Default Battery Kill switch/key

I want to install one of these, but even the heavy duty cut off handles max of 24 volts. Will this work, or not....I know dumb question for most of you guys. Also, where in line do you install it? At the front of the series or the end or somewhere else. Just looking for security for my cart. Thanks.

I have used the Curtis/Albright disconnect units for your purpose, check with forum sponsors NOT CHEAP BUT VERY GOOD.
SD200 is for up to 800 AMPS, and SD300 is for up to 1000 AMPS.

I add between #1 battery ( passenger rear battery ) plus cable and where it goes to solenoid.

Ok,
I know what you mean....I'm looking at it backwards, so it will end up on a neg. lead? or last battery in series or first...depends how you look at it I guess?

I know the "Kill" we put on our "combinations" are only handling 12v...that's what intially confused me.
