Default Aggravated at Gulf Coast Golf Carts

I ordered a solenoid on Monday from Gulf Coast Golf Carts, one of this site's sponsors. I ordered it on Monday and was told it was in stock and it would ship the next day. It did not ship until Thursday. Well, it arrived in the mail today (Saturday). I was surprised to see that it was shipped in just an envelope. Before I opened it, I could hear things rattling around inside. Not a good sign. I opened it and sure enough the solenoid was busted. There was a small piece of bubble wrap thrown in the bottom of the envelope, not even wrapped around the solenoid. Of course, no one is answering the phone today. Simply packaging the item correctly would have prevented what is now a huge aggravation. I left a message on voice mail asking for a return call. I guess we will see what kind of company they are on Monday. I hope that my first impressions are wrong.

The only site sponsor I've used is 3R Cart Parts & Accessories. Purchased wheels and tires, lift kit, etc. and I must tell you that they've gone BEYOND all my expectations. Paul is a stand up guy always willing to explain any question in detail. Packing and timeliness of delivery is exceptional. I hear you on your frustration but I would call them on Monday and find out what the deal is... Maybe the owner isnt aware of this and will benefit from your call.

It is the sixth one down on the left on the sponsors page. It says "No Balls - Just Parts." When you click on it, the website it takes you to is: http://www.mississippigolfcart.com

The other thing was that there was no invoice or packing slip in the envelope. No phone number or info about returns so I had to go back to the site just to get their phone number and there is no return policy posted on their site. I don't even have an order number to reference when I do get someone on the phone. What will really tick me off is if they ask me to return the busted one they sent and pay the shipping back to them.

I ordered some tires and wheels from a non sponser. After about 3 weeks they had not shipped and I needed them asap. I called Scotty, ordered on a Tuesday and had them on Thursday. Thanks Scotty, great service.

Ok what company is Scotty with?

On another note, I left them (mississippi golf carts or whoever they really are) 2 messages now. No one will answer the phone and I have not recevied a return phone call. I could not wait any longer and placed a second order for the same part with a different vendor on this site.
