rose88 and mikejafo - what year are your club cars and are they 36v? I have a 36v 1994 with brand new batteries and want to lift it but not sure if I will lose any speed or power? I am not sure what gwedo went with and when he replies it should help me also.

Go back and look at my post, my cart is 36V resistor cart, 4 gauge cables, PQ motor, 6" Supersport lift and 23" tires, slows on hills but to be expected.

Mine is a 2001 CC DS 48v Series. I'm expecting to get MORE speed with bigger tires & lift kit, not less. I get 22 MPH now with stock 8" wheels & tires, but I have a motor/controller/solenoid/F&R upgrade. The other guys are the resident experts on lift kits/tires and affect on speed.
