Scotty, Im not guru to this but I do need a state of charge meter. I know you mentioned that an analog meter may be more accurate. In your opinion, what brand or model would you recommend me getting as I was originally going for the curtis digital display one. Thx man

I've been tempted to install one of these Blue Sea Systems Marine DC Digital Multimeters on Ike... I've used Blue Sea's products on my boats for years.. They're products are pricey but very high quality..

he asked for a 12v meter for his motorhome... i have not tested. nor did i "google around". sure electronics is a reputable retailer, should be fine for indoor use.

I have the AC twin to that meter in my travel trailer to monitor the incoming power from either the onboard generator or the campground plug.. I have the alarms set for low voltage (108V), and the amperage alarm set just below the max output of the genset (25A).. I can also monitor the frequency of the genset's output for tuning the governor..

Looks nice. Just curious, what type of set up do you have on your boat that would require this type of meter? Is it for a trolling elec motor?

The only Blue Sea meter I have is in my camping trailer on the 120VAC shorepower circuit.. I've used their waterproof accessory switch panels and battery switches in all my boats, along with some of their 120V distribution panels and bus bars in my cruiser..
