Default New PQ Speeds

Ok, Im definitely going faster but not the 25-26 mph I was hoping for. First run doing exactly 23.61 mph. Except for tire pressure, don't know anything else I can do to get 2 more mph. I'm running stock cables but I doubt that going to 4ga will better my top speed. I will be trying again in a bit. 5 mph improvement tho.

If I had it to do over again I would skip the 4 gauge and go straight to 2 gauge at least.

Talking to PQ, they told me that with that set up, dont need to go with 4. I am planning on doing it to keep the heat down. Would 4ga get me a speed increase?

ONLY if your existing 6g cables are worn, corroded, or frayed.

cables are not hot. I want to keep stock controller. Dont see the reason in changing the cables. If I went with hs controller then I would change.

I don’t understand why you only went 25-26 mph.. First run with my Plum Quick motor went just over 65 mph.. Just before the battery pack got hot..

Congratulations with your new Plum Quick motor.. Hang in there .. These guys will get you to the speeds you need...

Still trying to make sense of having to go with thicker gauge cable with my set up.
All Ive got is a purple PQ and stock controller. Cables are not heating up at all. How can I benefit from going wider?

I am by no means an expert, but I have a question, would you be able to get anymore speed out of a stock controller anyway?
