New PQ Speeds
Ok, Im definitely going faster but not the 25-26 mph I was hoping for. First run doing exactly 23.61 mph. Except for tire pressure, don't know anything else I can do to get 2 more mph. I'm running stock cables but I doubt that going to 4ga will better my top speed. I will be trying again in a bit. 5 mph improvement tho.

Re: New PQ Speeds
If I had it to do over again I would skip the 4 gauge and go straight to 2 gauge at least.

Re: New PQ Speeds
Talking to PQ, they told me that with that set up, dont need to go with 4. I am planning on doing it to keep the heat down. Would 4ga get me a speed increase?

Re: New PQ Speeds
cables are not hot. I want to keep stock controller. Dont see the reason in changing the cables. If I went with hs controller then I would change.

Re: New PQ Speeds
Still trying to make sense of having to go with thicker gauge cable with my set up.
All Ive got is a purple PQ and stock controller. Cables are not heating up at all. How can I benefit from going wider? |

Re: New PQ Speeds
I am by no means an expert, but I have a question, would you be able to get anymore speed out of a stock controller anyway?
