Update on "Battery" problem
Got the new batteries. Installed. Drove 50 feet, still have same problem! When I press the pedal to the floor from dead stop, accelerates to speed quickly, then its like someone throws a parachute out and cart slows down. Going up inclines is almost impossible, and these are gravel road inclines. So....took new batteries out and put old ones back in. Took this afternoon to my buddy at a golf course and he discharged batteries. Turns out I only had one bad battery. He doesn't work on carts, he is the course superintendant, so he is as clueless as I am. Needless to say, very frustrated.
Any suggestions or thoughts? Could it be the motor? It doesnt make any strange noises, just doesnt have any power or speed. Once again, thanks for any help! Obviously I am pretty clueless with this electric stuff. One good thing is I will probably know alot more about them when it is all over, lol!

Re: Update on "Battery" problem
Is this cart a Precedent? If so, that could be the regen brake kicking in! You could take it back to the dealer and they would probably hook it up to the programer and see what you regen brake is set on and turn it down so it doesn't kick in so hard. If you have a GPS then check your speed and see if it kicks in at the same speed each time. Remember that a new set of batteries need to be broke in properlly. They will get stronger and stronger with each charge as they get broke in.
