Default wiring question

i have a 94 club car i bought. it was not running. the fuse on the charger and the fuse on the receptacle were burnt. i was looking at the wires on the batteries and saw that the green wire coming from the battery going to the forward reverse switch is attached to a negative post on the battery. the wiring diagram shows the green wire coming from a positive post. my question is is the wiring wrong and could that have caused the fuses to go out. or is this correct wiring? there is also a white wire coming from the same location but goes to the charger receptacle. any help willbe greatly appreciated

Do you have coils or is it a resistor cart or do you have a controller?

Yes, the green cable connects to the Positive post of battery #3 originally.

Send me an email and I will reply with a wiring diagram for your cart. Then you can follow that and double check what you have.
