Default controller ?

I sent my motor to PQ to get upgraded and am thinking of buying a new controller I am getting a logisystems controller the 480 amp is $285 shipped but the 700 amp is $330 shipped I dont plan on doing any more upgrades in the near future. which controller should I get is the 700 worth the extra money? I have an 84 converted to solid state ds thanks for the help

220 extra amps available if needed for $45 net cost... yeah, I would spend it.

what type of motor do you have. If its a "shunt type" motor. Do not go with a 700 amp controller cause you will fry it. At least not if you run the contoller at 100%. Anything over 500amp on shunt motor is not advisable.

You will never have to worry about an overload and it should last forever.
