older Club car golf cart will not go forward at times

I need help in finding my problem with
( at times ) going forward with my club cart.

Describe your symptoms. Check your Forward/Reverse switch contacts. When it give you trouble reach down and wiggle the F/R switch back and forth a little bit and see if it moves.

The cart moves in reverse but won't go forward, acts as though it is clicking in but won't move. Cart was operating fine prior to winter storage

Probably a corroded contact in the F&R switch.....put it in forward and with clear space in front of you and your foot in the gas wiggle or pull the lever around a bit to see if you can get contact...if so it will go..... Lever and switch may need to be disassemble and contacts cleaned.

If its an old 36v car you may have one severely bad battery on the full 36v circuit that isnt being affected by the lower voltage 18v circuit. Ive seen it happen multiple times..
