I had to reinforce my springs at 48v, that d380 will twist em up.

Yeah, I already have tripple springs, but no banding and your right the "bad boy" does have alot more torque than most think. I've been running it about 2 years...love the motor, but I'd do it a little different next time.

Sorry for the delay in reporting the final results. Batts. are 2 1/2 years old and have undetermined problems. PQ motor runs cart up to 31 mph, but stabilizes at 29 with wind resistance...runs strong for 30 minutes and batteries crash to nothing! I will eventually upgrade to 72 volts when I replace my batts. and see what kind of power and run time I get. I overlooked the pressure in my tires, that's why I was only running 25...they had no pressure. I put in 20lbs and they run fast and offer very little resistance off road on flat ground or in sugar sand. I am very impressed with this motor, thumbs up to PQ.

Is PQ a local shop or did you ship the motor? If you don't mind... may I ask about how much you spent on a rewind and paint job for the motor?

I have the Bad Boy reworked by PQ. With new batteries I can run 38 to 40 mph on 48 volts and mid 50's on 72 volts with 9 8 volt batts and a Alltrax 450 amp controller.I had to go to 5 leaf springs beacause we took it to dragstrip and with controller by pass it bent 3 leaf's first time out.New batteries should help you a lot.

Local to where ?
In most cases U call PQ order the motor , they send U a motor.
U put your on motor back in box then sent it to PQ as a core.
