Re: What is the cut-off voltage for a 1999 48V
My charger went 25 hours Batteries were very low to start the cart had set up 2 months and it was cold last night even in my shop. I shut the charger off after 25 hours. and checked across the pack at 53 volts. One hour later it was 51.46 and the batteries were as listed 8.49 8.62 8.64 8.67 8.48 8.58. should I charge for a longer time?

Thats normal. After a full charge, battery charge will trickle down to its true charge within 30 minutes cr so. I think those numbers are correct. 53 to 51 within an hour. It should definitely stay at 51. Without connecting the charger, check after another twelve hour passes and see.

think its about 60v. Here's a copy of an 05 manual. Hopefully its the same as the 99 charger you have.

Re: What is the cut-off voltage for a 1999 48V
50.9 is FULL.... anything more is temporary ... the pack will settle for as long as 12 hours after the charge to a voltage the pack can hold... re-read that last sentance
SG readings after 12 hours are the true reading of a batteries health Hope this helps. |

Re: What is the cut-off voltage for a 1999 48V
The problem i had was the charger never shut off after 25 hours. The batteries were not hot the amp reading was about 4 amp the weather was cold. The cart had not been charged for at leased 2 months. After the reading I am getting should I cycle the batteries a couple of times.

Re: What is the cut-off voltage for a 1999 48V
do me a favor. Check to see if the charger turns on immediately when the DC output cord is connected to the cart without the normal 2-5 second delay??
