Default 95 48v ClubCar ser#a9536-458333

Hi guys!!!

I'm new here and I was just given this cart. Where should I start? Ive tested the batts and showing 45.4v witch I think should be ample to at least make it crawl a foot or two, Also is there detailed wire diagrams with part descriptions?

Thanx

You might get it to crawl in reverse but it wont move forward. Not enough voltage.

You need to plug in the charger and let if finish. A9536, that is the same as one of mine. Mine was a Regen 1 but I am in the process of converting to a series cart. Does yours have a F/R lever(series) or a toggle switch(regen)?

As murphy said read
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...intenance.html
then
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-readings.html
Make sure all the cables are clean and snug then charge it , wait 1 hour after charge completes
then get all the battery readings .
Good luck !

A lever, that's great because it is a series! Much better than the expermental carts that CC put out from late 95-97 or so. If you start getting into upgrades and you will if you stay on this site, then slap a 36V series motor in that puppy and it will scream! Did you try to charge it yet? Are the seats and top in good shape? We want to see a pic of this free cart! Sounds like you have a lot to build on.

Man, you got a heck of a deal for free! Headlights, seats look great, back seat, extended roof, wood grain dash! How the heck did you get it for free? Did you charge it to see if you can get it to work?
