Battery Failure - Same location 3X
I have a 2003 48v Club Car. The last battery in the series of 6 keeps going bad about every 2-3 weeks. The charger appears to be charging correctly. This battery is the last one before the resistor pack and motor. I have replaced the battery 3 times with a new Trojan. The company gave me a 6 mo. warranty on a used cart so they have been replacing the battery for free so far. They claim Trojan had a bad batch of batteries but the last one was a different batch. The cable looks good so I suspect the issue is something else. The battery voltage drops to about 7.8 v with no load and then with a load drops to 1.5 volts or lower after a few weeks. The cart is not heavily used. Its always the same battery location that goes bad.
